Flowers:
When to Apply: Feed at time of feeding and then repeat every 4-6 weeks during the growing season. Coverage varies with type of plant.
How to Apply: Sprinkle one ounce per square foot of bedding, or two tablespoons per plant. Work into the top 1-3 inches of soil of new plantings. Water thoroughly after planting.

Trees & Shrubs
When to Apply: Feed in the spring after new foliage has appeared. Repeat every 4-6 weeks during the growing season, with the last feeding one-month before the first expected frost.
How to Apply: Spread fertilizer evenly under the drip zone (branch canopy) of each plant and water in thoroughly. Do not concentrate the plant food near trunk or crown of plants.
